Stress and Fear
I don’t have to read a report by the American Psychological Association, to know that many of us are being adversely impacted by the turmoil that has been part of our lives for the past several months.
Many people are feeling overwhelmed, confused, fearful, alone, and uncertain. On top of those feelings, they are trying to cope with financial difficulties and health concerns. Homeschooling young children adds an extra layer of stress for parents who are also trying to work remotely. Parents who cannot work remotely are forced to find outside childcare/tutoring. These are only a few of the issues.
I am offering you a free Coaching Session.
Some of you do not have anyone (you trust) to talk with about what is going on in your life. It’s easy to get caught in the whirlwind of thoughts that keep you feeling anxious and stressed.
Coaching is not therapy.
Coaching is more like having a deep, but pleasant conversation with a good friend. It is not my job to diagnose you or delve into your past. My job is to listen to what you have to say and to help you find peace of mind in the middle of troublesome times.
It won’t hurt and it might help.
You might think that one coaching session couldn’t possibly help. Yes, sometimes it does take more than one session, but that is not the rule. I have worked with more than a few clients who had one coaching session with me and were able to get back on track without any more sessions.
You will not be asked to sign up for any further sessions. All I ask is that you show up for our appointment on time and approach our meeting as if you were paying for the session.
