You Are The Real Deal!

Do you sometimes feel as if no one ever really sees the real you?  Do you secretly dream of being an artist or writer?  Would you love to own your own business, but you don’t know where to start?  Do you feel trapped by your current job or circumstances, so you put your dreams on an indefinite hold?

Take a look at the photo at the top of this article.  The woman in the photo seems to be relaxed, happy and confident.  She’s outside, walking, chatting on the phone and enjoying a delicious gourmet coffee.  This is just a snapshot of a moment in her life.  If you could live your life any way you  pleased, what would a snapshot of your life look like?  Seriously, take a few minutes, and think about it.

You are the real deal!

What do I mean by that?  I mean that there is no one else on this planet with your exact DNA!  You are an original!  A rare gem!

Life has a way of covering over our uniqueness.  From a very young age, we are encouraged to do what our parents tell us to do, to follow the rules and not make waves.  We were taught to not take chances or else we might land flat on our face, but the flip side of that is if we don’t take chances, we never grow and we never find out exactly what we are capable of achieving.   If a toddler gave up on walking, the first time she tripped and fell, she would never learn to walk.   Thankfully, babies are not wired that way.  They have a desire to walk like the grown-ups and get places faster than they can by crawling.  As adults, we need to re-discover that same desire in ourselves.

My goal is to help my clients uncover their unique abilities and talents.  It gives me so much pleasure to witness the  awakening of the dreams that were put aside, sometimes many years ago.  Helping my clients to take baby steps outside their comfort zones, and watching them soar as they realize their value and potential, is an amazing experience!
